Filipinos are always known for being hard workers.  A classic example is this man who I saw was working on a hot bright sunny day, trying to fix a road inside the UP Diliman Campus. 

FYI, unlike other countries, blue collar workers here in the Philippines only get a minimum base pay per day, sometimes even lower. Just to give you an idea, the minimum base pay here is around 400pesos (that’s around $9 per day or lower).  Something that our corrupt government should look into.
